Quick Update on the Running

So far so good. I am up to 4.5 miles for my longest run. My pace is still pretty slow at about 9:30/mile. If there is one thing I have learned, it's that running alone is boring. It's pretty hard to find someone that runs your pace though.

I am supposed to do 5 this weekend, we'll see how that goes.

If the running is not challenging enough for you, I suggest the following: run 2 minutes and drop and do 20 pushups and then run another 2 minutes and continue with the pushups. If your longest run is 30 minutes (for example), you would shoot for 15 cycles of this. If your total number of pushups possible (in one go) is 40, then do sets of 8 to 10 pushups instead of 20. Although it will seem easy at the beginning, you will be introduced to a world of pain like no other as the session wears on.
